　クラッシュやマシンの吊り上げシーンは記者にとって垂涎もの。なぜなら普段は見えない車体フロアを見る絶好のチャンスだからだ。ドイツの『auto motor und sport』のリポーター、トビー・グリューナーがフェラーリとレッドブル・ホンダのマシン下面を捉えていた。

　予選および決勝レースのシミュレーションを行うフリー走行2回目において、各セクタータイムの順位が公開されている。メルセデスが相変わらずの速さを見せ、アルファタウリ・ホンダも地の利とパワーユニットの好調さを匂わせる結果に。フェラーリはトラックリミット違反がなければルクレールがセッション最速タイムを出している。ここにフェルスタッペンがどこまで食い込めるのだろうか、この4チームを中心にポールポジション争いが展開されそうだ。
